As already known by many, we have leased a piece of land on a fish farm in Morocco in order to conduct trials of our brine mining systems under desert conditions.
The fish farm breeds tilapia and is operating quite successfully. We have now received inquiries from various directions as to whether our solar brine mining still technology could be combined with a breeding line for tilapia.
The brine mining stills are very robust, small greenhouse structures that can be assembled quickly and easily. Compared to the plastic tent structures used so far, the brine mining stills have a significantly longer service life (plastic tents require constant repairs and still need to be replaced after only a few years).

We have the solution and would very much like to implement it, but we require short-term financial support to do so.
The importance of a functioning small breeding line should not be underestimated. In many areas along the Atlantic coast, fish stocks are currently being depleted by industrial fishing. Local fishermen are left with less and less to sustain their livelihoods. With our new breeding still, we can offer fishermen an alternative path and address the problem of overfishing constructively, creating a win–win situation for all stakeholders involved.
We are raising funds via the following link in order to quickly establish and expand the necessary capacity:
The funds raised can and are intended to be repaid. However, given the urgency of the situation, organizing a donation-based campaign is the simplest short-term solution, as it allows us to move forward as quickly as possible.
In the medium term, we will expand the design of our brine mining stills to include the option of a fish breeding still and carry out further related developments.
Further details will be available on a dedicated page.
